This was a pain in the ass to install because the directions aren't the best. But if you put most of it together and then feed the steel cable up through the downrod, lol it over the gold "pin" inside the hanger lobe, and feed it back down through no.3 screw it'll hold in the ceiling while you do everything else. Their terms for things were also confusing.in the directions. The lobed "coneave" groove they talk about must be turned in the hanger until it hits the hanger lug and slides down further. People who say the fan isn't quiet probably dont have it slid into place in the lug causing vibration or movement.Haven't added lightbulbs yet but everything works without even needing the light switch on for the room, just use the remote and capped the red and copper wire I didn't need.
