A lot of people look for an exterior light based on brightness, sensors etc. The truth is at night, all you often see is a light source. During the day, the light fixture is still there and most are just plain ugly. Not this one! Looks just as good off or on.Pros: uses standard bulbs so you set the mood and brightness. Large and attractive,call it a statement piece.Things to know: If you are installing outside, requires a flat mounting site the side of the light to enable sealing. Mounting on siding in my case, required cutting the siding and adding a pvc board.Cons: supplied screws for electrical box mount are short with small heads. Any additional backing requires longer screws for the box.Pleasantly surprised and happy with the purchase!
