16" LED Outdoor Wall Lights Matte Black

While there seems to be no shortage of traditional (some might say outdated) looking exterior wall sconces, finding a reasonably priced modern looking sconce can be a challenge. I liked the fact that this light is really an indirect light (meaning that in use you really can't see the light source itself, just the light reflecting off the surface on which this light is mounted). It adds a nice look and is easier on the eyes.This light feels fairly well built at least in terms of the materials. The black metal portion of the fixture is pretty stout. It is clearly designed to be used with a standard US wall junction box (unlike some foreign-made lights that don't understand that US code requires a junction box when connecting line voltage wires). The light is bright, but not a cold blue light. I was hoping that it might be dimmable, but not only is it not dimmable (at least not using a standard Lutron Diva DVCL-153P LED dimmer switch), but it won't even turn on if the dimmer switch is at full brightness, so there must be some sort of conflict with the switch and the LED driver in this fixture. I'm not deducting points for this because it wasn't advertised as dimmable, but it's a shame that it isn't.As with all fixtures that have built-in LED light sources, I hope that this light fixture lasts, because you can't just replace the bulb like with other fixtures. Just know that if you purchase this light, if/when it goes bad, you're going to have to replace the whole fixture (or do a whole bunch of work to retro-fit new LEDs and/or driver).

I purchased this light to use in our bar area, but unfortunately my husband vetoed that idea. We will instead be using it when we move to our new home, so I'll just have to hold off on installing it until then. We did test it out though and I love the way it lights up. It looks very sleek, elegant, and modern. Definitely a great find!

Picked this out for the front porch but I ended up using it on my back deck since it just looked better overall there (would have been a touch too high on my porch). Install is easy, and it comes with instructions if this is your first fixture replacement. For any first timers just a note that making new holes in exterior walls are a bit trickier than interior drywall. After install though, the light is soft and relaxing and projected from the bar to the backing. You won't be able to do much eyeball work in the soft glow, but its a perfect supplement to enjoying a mojito on the deck with friends.

I’m pleased with the performance and design of these outdoor wall lights. They provide excellent illumination and the black finish looks sharp against my house. The 3000K light is warm and inviting. My only issue was with the assembly, which took a bit longer than expected. Overall, they’re a solid choice for outdoor lighting.

This is a well made exterior light that can also be used in doors. It is made of good quality metal that has a good weight to it and it should provide really nice calm accent lighting with how the LEDs are focused to reflect off the dark back of the light fixture. It is designed to be installed on a flat surface, so for those with vinyl siding like myself, this light may not be ideal since the entire 11.4" on the back where the electrical mounting plate is will leave it exposed if not completely flush to the wall. The other thing to note is that there are no certification markings on the fixture, but they are using a certified LED driver in it.All in all, this looks like a well made flush mount exterior or interior accent light. You will need to make sure to do some sealing around the top and sides for walls exposed to weather, but otherwise it is a very straightforward install mounted on a light fixture electrical box, and comes with everything you'll need to get it fully installed.
