65" Ceiling Fans with LED Lights and Remote

My partner is super handy and so it was their job to install this fan. First of all, we got the 60" model (OUPAVOCS 60 inch Ceiling Fan with Lights Remote Control) and I really like the way that it looks as it's nice and modern. It's a nice size for our room, which isn't too big, and it definitely provides a nice breeze or feeling of air moving. The hardware it comes with is good and I like that it has the option of a shorter or longer fan 'neck' (where it hangs from the ceiling). It also can be hung on an angle, although we did not test this.My partner said it installed pretty easily, however due to our ceilings he had to reinforce the ceiling a bit first to accommodate the weight of this fan. That might say more about our ceiling than the fan, but make sure you think that through before beginning installation.

This is the largest fan I have ever owned. It has heavy plastic blades for moisture resistance. The motor is DC with 6 speeds and quiet operation. The remote runs everything so no need to get a ladder after installation. Output of the 8 blades is impressive. Two downrods are included. I found the longer of the two to work for me but it would have been nice to have one that was 6 inches longer. As this is a 72 inch fan, there needs to be clearance above the fan to get optimum performance and both rods are on the close side for this. The color of the led is controlled by turning the light off and on rapidly. I would prefer an more permanent color selection method as it is easy to inadvertently change it. I also found the brightness to be low for the mounting height. A fan od this size is typically mounted above the standard 8 foot ceiling and at 12 feet the light is dim. The designer has gone to great lengths to make installing this easy. Recommended

The OOPAVOCS Ceiling Fan is big. 72 inches is 6 feet. Check your room before ordering.It is also pretty heavy. 22 pounds. Be sure the fixture you are attaching it to can handle the weight.But it is worth it. The fan moves a lot of air silently on the lower settings. On higher settings it does make some sound, but on a hot day that is the price to pay.I love having a remote control. No more pulling the chains and counting the steps to go through the sequence. That alone makes this fan a winner. Nice having control of the light temperature as well.The price is very reasonable for a quality fan that looks good in the room. An excellent replacement for our old fan that has seen better days.Recommended.

The first thing I noticed about this ceiling fan was the uniquely shaped fan blades. I don't really know if the design adds anything special to its function, but it does make attaching them to the motor pretty effortless. And at a total span of 60 inches, it moves a lot of air. And of course the motor is reversible and has fan speed settings and all the other bells and whistles of the modern ceiling fans.
